Recap: Mastery Warrior vs. Eastside Tigers
The Mastery Warrior lost against the Eastside Tigers back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Mastery was beaten by Eastside 101-20. Mastery was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-15.
Among those leading the charge was Glenmore King, who scored 17 points along with six steals. Another player making a difference was Jalen Long, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Mastery bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Eastside, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mastery's road trip will continue as they head out to face Solebury at 4:00 p.m. on December 19th. Hopefully Solebury focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Thursday. As for Eastside, they will head out on the road to face off against Seneca at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca and Eastside are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
