Soccer Recap: Samueli Academy Wins Going Away Against Capistrano Valley Christian

On Tuesday, the Samueli Academy Firewolves made easy work of the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles and carried off a 7-1 win.

Samueli Academy's offense was hitting Capistrano Valley Christian from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Isaac Barriga led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Samueli Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five matches. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-8-1.

Coincidentally, Samueli Academy and Capistrano Valley Christian will both be playing The Webb Schools the next time they take the pitch. Samueli Academy will host The Webb Schools at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Capistrano Valley Christian will head out to face them at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
