South Stokes is 9-1 against Starmount since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The South Stokes Sauras will look to defend their home court against the Starmount Rams at 7:45 p.m. South Stokes will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, South Stokes beat Reagan 51-47.

Starmount played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Elkin 43-41.

Starmount found their leader in sophomore Deuce Best, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Ryley Rodriguez was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Starmount smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Starmount's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-18. As for South Stokes, their win was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2.

Everything came up roses for South Stokes against Starmount in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 75-32 victory. Does South Stokes have another victory up their sleeve, or will Starmount turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
