Football Recap: Desert Christian Eagles vs. Hayden Lobos
Desert Christian and Hayden squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Desert Christian had to settle for second. They were dealt a 77-6 defeat at the hands of the Hayden Lobos. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Kino Lorona, who rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown for Hayden. Lorona also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, making five total tackles, and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception. Tyler Garner was another key rusher, gaining 119 total yards and two touchdowns.
Desert Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hayden, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
