Soccer Recap: Redondo Union Takes Down Ranked El Segundo

On Tuesday, Redondo Union faced El Segundo in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Redondo Union Sea Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the El Segundo Eagles a 2-0 shutout. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 back in December of 2024.

Sebastian Lamb and Owen Hancock scored both of Redondo Union's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Redondo Union is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3-2 record this season. As for El Segundo, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3-1.
