Softball Recap: Brantley Wins Going Away Against Russell County

Brantley never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Russell County Warriors 11-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Brantley's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Russell County, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brantley will take on LAMP in a tournament on Saturday. Brantley is facing LAMP at the right time seeing as LAMP is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Russell County, they will take on Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Carroll has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.28 runs per game on average), something Russell County will no doubt try to take advantage of.
