Basketball Recap: Algonac Takes a Loss

Algonac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They fell 61-51 to the Almont Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-42 back in January.

Algonac's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Almont, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Looking ahead, Algonac will head out on the road to face off against Croswell-Lexington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Croswell-Lexington will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Algonac surely won't give up without a fight. As for Almont, they have already played their next contest, a 54-45 loss against Richmond on the 14th.
