Baseball Recap: Bear River's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Bear River couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 9-6 to the Pine View Panthers on Friday. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Jaxon Theurer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Chipper Hawes was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.
