Basketball Game Preview: Pine Forest Eagles vs. Jackson Aggies

Having just played yesterday, the Pine Forest Eagles will jump right back in to play the Jackson Aggies at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Pine Forest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Pine Forest turned things around against Baker on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 61-54. The win was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 376th in Florida, while the Hornets are ranked 16th in Alabama).

Meanwhile, Jackson posted their closest victory since February 21st on Thursday. They skirted past Theodore 44-41. The 44-point effort marked the Aggies' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for Jackson and bumps their season record up to 4-3. As for Pine Forest, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
