Soccer Recap: Loara Takes a Loss

Loara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Cypress Centurions. One thing that didn't help Loara's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Emanuel Munguia.

Loara's goal came courtesy of Sadiq Khalil, who's now up to ten this season.

Loara's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Cypress, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8-4.

Loara does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cypress, they will face off against Notre Dame (SO) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Notre Dame (SO)'s last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
