Baseball Recap: Neoga Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Neoga posted their closest victory since March 24th on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions 7-5. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered an 8-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

Carter Young was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Cayden Hakman, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Neoga is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Neoga will take on Cumberland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, they will host Lebanon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
