Softball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside lost against Rancho Verde back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lancers came up short against the Mustangs, falling 8-2. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adryanna Alvarez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Rancho Verde, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Lakeside didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-2 victory against Perris on the 17th. As for Rancho Verde, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-0 win against Citrus Hill on the 17th.
