Baseball Recap: Amherst Comes Up Short

Amherst lost against Crandon on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-4 to the Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amherst saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Spoelstra, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

Amherst's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Crandon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

As of now, neither Amherst nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
