Basketball Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. Fairfield Union Falcons

The Warren Warriors will challenge the Fairfield Union Falcons at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Warren has 13 straight wins, Fairfield Union has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Warren is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Philo: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Warren blew Philo out of the water with a 70-35 final score. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Fairfield Union was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 43-37 to Circleville.

Warren's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points over those games. As for Fairfield Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
