Basketball Recap: Buffalo Valley's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buffalo Valley). They walked away with a 47-40 victory over the Turner Falcons on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Buffaloes as it spelled an end to their 12-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Buffalo Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Turner, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Buffalo Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 79-28 loss against Stuart on the 16th. As for Turner, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Turner Falcons duke it out with the Wilson Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on December 20th.
