Crest Ridge came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Midway Vikings as they made off with an 11-2 win. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by six runs or more this season.

Crest Ridge pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Midway, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

Crest Ridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Concordia on the 14th. Midway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
