Soccer Game Preview: Deering vs. Scarborough

The Deering Rams are taking a road trip to square off against the Scarborough Red Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Deering is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

If Scarborough heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Deering took over last week. The Rams had just enough and edged out Westbrook 2-1. That's two games straight that Deering have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Scarborough made sure to put some goals up on the board against Portland on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 4-1 win. Scarborough might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by three goals or more this season.

The victory got Deering back to even at 7-7. As for Scarborough, their record is now 13-0.

Deering suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Scarborough when the teams last played back in September. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
