It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the McDowell Titans can now relate to. They received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 62-47 to the Mavericks.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rylan Parkins, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Elliott, who scored ten points.

Leading Marvin Ridge to victory were Alex Hutchens and Cinjun Bridges. Hutchens scored 16 points, while Bridges scored 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hutchens has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Marshall Payne, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.

McDowell's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-5. As for Marvin Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 17-10.

McDowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Marvin Ridge is on the road again on Friday and plays Chambers at 7:00 p.m. on March 1st. One thing working in Chambers' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
