Volleyball Recap: Kossuth Beats Booneville for Their Seventh Straight Victory

Kossuth entered their tilt with Booneville on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on September 2nd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-6, 25-12.

Dallyn Haupt paced Kossuth's offense, picking up ten kills. Haupt got some help from Brenyn Wilbanks and her 15 assists. Wilbanks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 14 aces.

Kossuth's win bumped their record up to 22-4-2. As for Booneville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Kossuth and Booneville will both be playing Alcorn Central the next time they take the court. The Aggies will host the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Blue Devils will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
