Football Recap: Station Camp Skates Past Allen County-Scottsville with Ease

Station Camp had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots to the tune of 48-7.

Station Camp's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Chanz Simpson, Kamden Simpson, and Myles Jefferson, who each picked up one sack apiece. Matthew Dickens got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Station Camp, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Dickens, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Station Camp will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Rockvale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Allen County-Scottsville, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Monroe County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
