New London-Spicer and Dassel-Cokato are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Wildcats will head out to  face off against the Chargers  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
On Tuesday, New London-Spicer didn't have quite enough to beat Montevideo and fell  3-2.
 Logan Swenson was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  pitched 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. What's more,  he gave up only two  walks, the fewest he's  had since back in April.

 Meanwhile, Dassel-Cokato can  bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  5-4  victory over Litchfield.
 New London-Spicer's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Dassel-Cokato, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.
