Chireno and Douglass are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Chireno Owls will square off against the Douglass Indians at TBD on Thursday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chireno walked away with it. They took down the Bears 52-38 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but Chireno sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Meanwhile, Douglass put the finishing touches on their 15th blowout victory of the season on Monday. They claimed a resounding 73-20 win over Harleton on the road. The win was just what Douglass needed coming off of a 55-34 loss in their prior match.
Chireno's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Douglass, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.
