Basketball Recap: Tooele Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Ogden came into Friday's game looking for another win against Tooele, but Halle Hogan wouldn't allow it. The Tooele Buffaloes narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Ogden Tigers 45-43 thanks in part to Hogan, who posted 16 points along with five assists and five boards. That's the most boards she has posted since back in December of 2023.

Camila Lora was another key player, putting up six points along with 11 boards and five steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Tooele pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Ogden, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Tooele will head out to take on Park City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tooele is facing Park City at the right time seeing as Park City is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ogden, they will host Provo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Provo will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Ogden surely won't give up without a fight.
