Basketball Recap: Christian Fellowship Piles Up the Points Against La Monte

Christian Fellowship was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against La Monte on Tuesday. Christian Fellowship blew past the La Monte Vikings 63-31. Christian Fellowship has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 25 points or more this season.

Leading Christian Fellowship to victory were Jake Davis and Brett Conklin. Davis went 6 of 12 en route to 18 points along with seven assists and four steals, while Conklin went 6 of 13 en route to 17 points and four steals. The game was Davis' ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Aslanidis, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

Christian Fellowship is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for La Monte, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Christian Fellowship will host Lighthouse Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for La Monte, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bunceton at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
