Basketball Recap: North Harrison Comes Up Short

North Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 54-36 to the Winston Red Birds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Shamrocks of the 55-53 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Jensen Davis was North Harrison's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Andrew Craig held things down on the boards with nine rebounds. Wyatt Maize took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

North Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Winston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

North Harrison has already played their next match, a 71-62 defeat against St. Joseph Christian on the 13th. As for Winston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-33 win against Union Star on the 13th.
