Football Recap: Arthur County Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Arthur County extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jaycen Hanna. The Wolves blew past the Sioux County Warriors, posting a 70-19 victory with plenty of help from Hanna, who rushed for 189 yards and five TDs on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Camden Mironenko was another key player, picking up 115 receiving yards and a pair of scores. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up three sacks and making four total tackles.

Arthur County's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. Mironenko was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three sacks himself.

Sioux County lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Baxter Reece, who rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 66 receiving yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Taylen Lambert, who threw for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Arthur County's record now sits at 4-2. As for Sioux County, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.
