Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rock Island). They were the clear victors by a 24-9 margin over the Kewanee Boilermakers on Tuesday. The Rocks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Boilermakers, too.

The victory made it two in a row for Rock Island and bumps their season record up to 7-8. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 7-10 Kewanee and 8-10 Geneseo. As for Kewanee, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Rock Island will head out to take on Geneseo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kewanee, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Mendota at 4:30 p.m.
