Softball Recap: Donna North Takes a Loss

Donna North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They lost 25-0 to the Weslaco East Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.

Donna North saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was America Macias, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Donna North's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Weslaco East, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Donna North is set to face off against their familiar foe Harlingen South at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Weslaco East will challenge rival Rivera at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
