Baseball Recap: North Bay Haven Academy Comes Up Short

North Bay Haven Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Rutherford Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-3 back in March.

North Bay Haven Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Niebuhr, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That double was Niebuhr's first of the season.

North Bay Haven Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Rutherford, they moved to 5-18 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

While North Bay Haven Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
