Recap: Cloverdale Eagles vs. Kelseyville Knights

The Cloverdale Eagles pushed their score all the way to 65 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 81-65 to Kelseyville. If Cloverdale hoped to take revenge for the 57-49 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.

Cloverdale's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Patton, who scored 23 points along with two steals. Patton hasn't dropped below 15 points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Oscar Flores, who scored 17 points along with two blocks.

Cloverdale's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Kelseyville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cloverdale will challenge Middletown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kelseyville, they will head out on the road to challenge John Adams Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. John Adams Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.5 points per game.
