Soccer Recap: Salem Hills Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Salem Hills was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Maple Mountain this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in March.

Salem Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Maple Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Salem Hills will head out to square off against Spanish Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spanish Fork will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Salem Hills surely won't give up without a fight. As for Maple Mountain, they will host Wasatch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
