Football Recap: Miller Buccaneers vs. Boerne Greyhounds

Miller and Boerne squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Miller had to settle for second. They lost to the Boerne Greyhounds on the road by a 65-50 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (38), the Buccaneers still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Miller lost, don't look at Broderick Taylor. Despite the final result, he rushed for 175 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Taylor really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run. Izaiah Guidrey also helped out with an impressive 91 receiving yards.

Boerne found their leader in sophomore Hank Hendrix, who threw for 435 yards and five touchdowns while completing 82.8% of his passes. That's the most passing yards Hendrix has posted since back in October. Brooks Perez did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 116 receiving yards.
