Basketball Recap: Canton Central Catholic Takes a Loss

After flying high against Salem last Saturday, Canton Central Catholic came back down to earth. The Canton Central Catholic Crusaders fell 49-37 to the Perry Panthers on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Canton Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Perry, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canton Central Catholic will take on Ursuline in a holiday battle at at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Perry and McKinley will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
