Valparaiso has gone 9-1 against Lowell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Valparaiso Vikings will take on the Lowell Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. Valparaiso has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 27.

Valparaiso is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest loss since February 23, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Lake Central by a score of 58-55.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lowell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They snuck past Kankakee Valley with a 54-48 victory on Saturday.

Lowell had a senior duo take command as Ryan Grskovich posted 16 points and five boards and Cooper Carey scored ten points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Carey a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Brayden Spearson, who earned seven points.

Valparaiso's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Lowell, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Valparaiso strolled past Lowell when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 58-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Valparaiso since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
