Kearns barely beat Cyprus the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars blew past the Pirates 5-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Kearns, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Cyprus from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

The win snapped Kearns' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-6 record. As for Cyprus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Kearns is taking a road trip to challenge West Jordan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kearns are facing West Jordan at the right time seeing as West Jordan are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Cyprus, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Granger at 7:00 p.m. Granger will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Cyprus surely won't give up without a fight.
