Basketball Recap: Ferguson Comes Up Short

Ferguson and Coral Reef squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Ferguson had to settle for second. They took a 74-58 bruising from the Coral Reef Barracudas. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Barracudas apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Ferguson's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Coral Reef, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Ferguson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coral Reef, they will take on Palmetto on Friday. One thing working in Palmetto's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
