Basketball Recap: Westbury Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 54-24, which was the final score in the Westbury Green Dragons's tilt against Academy Charter on Saturday. The Green Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Academy Charter, they moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westbury will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Uniondale at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. As for Academy Charter, they will welcome Friends Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
