Hamady came tearing into Wednesday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Flint Southwestern Academy Knights 77-19. 77 seems to be a good number for the Hawks as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hamady to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jody Jackson, who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Jackson a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of DeQueris Mayfield, who went 6 of 8 en route to 13 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds.

Hamady smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in eight consecutive matches.

Hamady's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. As for Flint Southwestern Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamady will host International Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. International Academy will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Hamady surely won't give up without a fight. Flint Southwestern Academy has already played their next game (against Bentley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
