Soccer Recap: Liberty Common Falls to Peak to Peak in First Game of Season

Liberty Common had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Peak to Peak Pumas by a score of 3-2. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pumas apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Leah Sullivan and Miriam Huffsmith scored both of Liberty Common's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The victory made it two in a row for Peak to Peak and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Liberty Common didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 defeat against Prospect Ridge Academy on the 8th. As for Peak to Peak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-2 win against Frontier Academy on the 11th.
