Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mount Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Rocky Mount Academy entered their tilt with Wilson Christian Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They beat the Chargers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Rocky Mount Academy was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 22-25, 25-11, 25-9.

McKenna Rogers paced Rocky Mount Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Rogers got some help from Landry Miller and her 26 assists. Rogers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Rocky Mount Academy's record now sits at 15-2. As for Wilson Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocky Mount Academy will welcome Epiphany at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they will host Hilltop Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
