Softball Recap: La Marque Gets the Win

La Marque's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles a 15-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

La Marque got a massive performance out of Kamori Walker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Kelsey Davis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

La Marque always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .952. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got La Marque back to even at 12-12-1. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
