Recap: Suwannee Bulldogs vs. Hamilton County Trojans
The Suwannee Bulldogs won against the Hamilton County Trojans on Thursday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Suwannee breezed by Hamilton County on the road to the tune of 55-28. The victory was familiar territory for Suwannee who now have three in a row.
Suwannee got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kiera Jelks out in front who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Janeah Mitchell, who scored 15 points.
Hamilton County's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aaliyah McFadden , who scored 8 points. McFadden scored a full 28.6% of Hamilton County's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tramial Jackson , who scored 7 points.
Suwannee's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hamilton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Suwannee will take on Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Bradford is ranked 139th, while Suwannee is ranked 146th). As for Hamilton County, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Jefferson County at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
