Baseball Game Preview: Bradenton Christian Panthers vs. IMG Academy White Ascenders

The Bradenton Christian Panthers will square off against the IMG Academy White Ascenders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bradenton Christian will be strutting in after a victory while IMG Academy White will be coming in after a loss.

Bradenton Christian is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against Booker on Thursday. Bradenton Christian put the hurt on Booker with a sharp 16-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Tornadoes: they've now won four in a row.

Bradenton Christian let Connor Henderson and Matthew Johnson loose on the outfield. Henderson scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3, while Johnson scored two runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave Henderson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Davis, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, IMG Academy White didn't have quite enough to beat Clewiston on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

IMG Academy White also got a good showing from Carsen Mansour, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Bradenton Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for IMG Academy White, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
