Football Recap: North Monterey County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Rancho San Juan last Friday, North Monterey County came back down to earth. The Condors received a blow on Friday as they fell 26-7 to the King City Mustangs. The Condors have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Junior Hernandez threw for 77 yards on 14 of 26 attempts. On the ground, Marcos Mendoza rushed for 48 yards.

North Monterey County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for King City, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, North Monterey County will venture away from home to face off against Everett Alvarez at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for King City, they will take on St. Francis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
