Basketball Recap: Orion Find Success

If Morrison wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Orion, they should've done a better job of containing Kyler Owens. The Orion Chargers took down the Morrison Mustangs 74-59 on Monday thanks in part to Owens, who went 15 of 28 en route to 35 points and seven steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Orion's record is now 7-2. As for Morrison, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Orion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-31 victory against Erie-Prophetstown on the 18th. As for Morrison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-51 win against Mercer County on the 18th.
