Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders vs. Bishop Canevin Crusaders

The Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders will square off against the Bishop Canevin Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bishop Guilfoyle knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 matches -- so hopefully Bishop Canevin likes a good challenge.

Bishop Guilfoyle heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Friday. They fell 69-58 to Forest Hills. The Marauders' loss signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Bishop Canevin unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak last Tuesday. They were dealt a 66-36 defeat at the hands of Aliquippa. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Quips are ranked 41st).

Bishop Guilfoyle's loss dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Bishop Canevin, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
