 In what's become a running theme this season, Tombstone gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. They never let the Willcox Cowboys onto the board and left with  a   10-0  win. The  victory was familiar territory for Tombstone who now have five in a row.
  DJ Elias made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Elias has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Elias was also big at the plate,  firing off two  home runs, three  runs,  and three  RBI while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Miles McClain was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Hank Moody, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Tombstone pushed their record up to 16-5 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.0 runs per game. As for Willcox, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tombstone will  challenge Morenci at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Willcox, they will head out on the road to  take on  Pima at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Pima's pitching crew has only allowed four  runs per game  this season, so Willcox's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
