Softball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West lost against Maryville on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rebels came up short against the Red Rebels, falling 15-1. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Claire Davenport, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

West's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Maryville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

West has already played their next game, a 5-0 defeat against William Blount on the 4th. As for Maryville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-1 loss against Farragut on the 8th.
