There's no place like home for Lennard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hillsborough Terriers on Monday. For the Longhorns, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Terriers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2020.

Lennard had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Kahlyn Prieto paced Lennard's offense, picking up 18 kills. Prieto got some help from Bayleigh Beck and her 25 assists. Beck was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Lennard's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Hillsborough, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Lennard will welcome Wharton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hillsborough, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Robinson on the 30th.
