Basketball Recap: Heritage Christian Comes Up Short

Heritage Christian was the 39-22 winner over Foothills Community Christian when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Heritage Christian Falcons fell 33-20 to the Foothills Community Christian Falcons on Saturday. Heritage Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Foothills Community Christian to victory were Kimber Koteskey and Kelcie Fulbright. Koteskey posted six points, while Fulbright had eight points.

Heritage Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Foothills Community Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Foothills Community Christian at 10:30 a.m. on February 1st. As for Foothills Community Christian, they will challenge Great Falls HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Foothills Community Christian's defense has only allowed 26.2 points per game this season, so Great Falls HomeSchool's offense will have their work cut out for them.
